Super Sunday, March 3, 2017

(See below for the recent letter from Congregation Ahavath Torah's President Michael Ratzker regarding Sunday, March 3rd, the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey's Super Sunday. )

We have a win-win opportunity for you...
Sunday, March 3rd, is Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey's Super Sunday - a day of philanthropy that unites us as a people and demonstrates the power of community.
As you may know, Jewish Federation takes care of people in need, vigorously fights anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism, works to ensure a vibrant Jewish future and deepens connections with Israel.   All of this happens with the support of Federation's Annual Campaign.
Federation has launched the Super Sunday Synagogue Challenge. This initiative offers our shul a 50/50 split on any first-time or increased donations made by our members directly to Federation on Super Sunday, or via any appeals related to Super Sunday.  This unique program benefits our shul while also supporting our greater Jewish community.
Donate online beginning today through March 31st by going to    Please enter "CAT" in the synagogue name field so we can make this program a success for us!
If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact Laurie Siegel at or (201) 820-3956.
Thank you in advance for your commitment.
Michael Ratzker, CAT President
