Welcome To Ahavath Torah

Congregation Ahavath Torah (CAT) has served Englewood, NJ & Bergen County for over 100 years as a center for prayer, learning and charity.  We continuously work to create a peaceful atmosphere for religious life and growth as we serve G-d together.

At CAT, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for all as a Torah observing congregation with respect for one another and for one another's background and history.  read more

Welcome Shlichot Bar & Adi

This Shabbat we are excited to welcome our new Shlichot Bnei Akiva, Bar and Adi. We look forward to another wonderful year of learning and fun.

My name is Bar Eisenberg. (I'm the one on the left) I live in Hoshaya, a village near Haifa. I'm the oldest daughter in the family and I have four younger siblings. I graduated from Midreshet Migdal Oz of Yeshivat Har Etzion, and after that I recently completed two years of military service.

My name is Adi Cohen. (I'm the one on the right) I have four brothers and I live in Jerusalem. I just completed two years of Sherut Leumi working with children at risk at the Achuzat Sarah boarding school.
