Seating in all minyanim will be allocated first to those who had seats in that minyan last year, and then to those who attend that minyan on a regular basis during the year, provided your seating request is received by the due date.   The seating committee will do its best to be as sensitive as possible to the needs and desires of members.

  • At the bottom of this form you will be required to furnish your credit card information, if you owe us money for the seats you've requested.  Seat reservations will not be honored unless this payment information accompanies your reservation request.
  • Additionally, it is the policy of the synagogue to have all accounts current as to dues, assessments, pledges, and other fees before High Holiday seats are processed.  Contact Melody in the office ( or 201-568-1315) if you have questions about your account.

Members of Congregation Ahavath Torah who are in good standing received a seating request form, like the one above, in the mail.  The online seating request form we've created below is based on this form.  We've divided the online form into Sections that correspond to our paper form as follows:

Section A:  Members-Adult
Section B:  Members' Unmarried Children under 25
Section C:  Main Sanctuary - Members' Guests (also includes Grandchildren, Married children, Single Children 25 and over) 
Section D: Sanctuaries excluding Main - Members' Guests (also includes Grandchildren, Married children, Single Children 25 and over)
Section E: Members-Out of Town, Affiliate, Associate
Section F: Non Members
