Siyum Tanach in memory of Ezra Schwartz Hy"d

The murder of Ezra Schwartz Hy”d impacts us in a unique way because the story of his upbringing parallels many of ours. The path that brought Ezra to Tzomet ha-Gush was guided by the same sort of institutions that many of us attended and send our children to - school, shul, camp, and gap year program in Israel. Ezra’s path through his early years is our path and our children's path. And there are very few degrees of separation amongst our connections to Ezra’s extended family and network of friends.

One of Ezra’s hopes that he expressed shortly before his death, was to complete the study of all of Tanach. To honor his memory, our community will complete the entire Tanach that tragically he never got the chance to finish.

Please consider honoring Ezra’s memory by selecting a section of Tanach to study לזיכרון נשמת יחיאל עזרא זק"ל בן ארי יונה נ”י. May our learning serve to honor not only Ezra’s memory, but the memories of all those brutally murdered in this recent spate of attacks on our people.
